Reducing virus transmission at gas stations during a pandemic.

Skills
Adobe XD, Adobe Photoshop, wire framing, user research, product development.
Goal
Improving the experience of visiting a gas station during a pandemic.
The Problem
During a pandemic, it is essential to reduce the transmission of a deadly virus. Many people are anxious about touching surfaces in public places for fear of viral contamination. One such hub of contaminated surfaces is gas stations.
The Solution
My teammates and I decided to create an app that allows gas station users to make contactless payments.
I prototyped the app on paper, sent the sketches to my team, and then proceeded with their feedback.
Once I understood the desired flow, I created digital prototypes in Adobe XD.
I created the logo using vectors that I combined in photoshop.
I created realistic renderings in photoshop, and put them into a powerpoint app demo featuring each screen.
We decided to pivot away from contactless payment and towards a gas delivery service. I repeated the process of sketching app screens, checking with my teammates, and rebranded with a new logo and the color orange.
I created the logo using a free vector found online, which I edited in illustrator.
I created another powerpoint app demo to display the features.
